Afghanistan Police

Afghan National Civil Order Policemen get ready to go out on patrol Sunday in Marjah, southern Helmand Province, Afghanistan. A string of attacks by Afghan police and armymen against their own colleagues and international forces has spiked in recent months. The latest attack occurred Saturday, killing six policemen.

Students sent to hospital after Thursday bus wreck

The condition of three individuals hospitalized after a Thursday afternoon accident involving a school bus was unknown Friday, but authorities said injuries appeared minor.
