Frankie and Jimmie Barao of Killeen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family members April 6 at the Shilo Inn in Killeen.

Mr. Barao is a retired truck driver and a former volunteer fire chief for the city of Harker Heights. Mrs. Barao is retired from Sprint and the city of Killeen.

Their children are son, Bobby Barao and his wife, Sherry, of Las Vegas, and daughter, Dana Barao of Irving.

They have three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
