The Rev. James and Beulah Crane

The Rev. James and Beulah Crane of Killeen recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a family get-together.

Beulah Williams and James Crane were united in marriage on Jan. 6, 1961, in St. Louis, Mo.

They have lived in the area for 38 years.

The Rev. Crane retired from the military and the post office.

Mrs. Crane is a domestic engineer and the one who holds it all together, “large and in charge.”

Their children are James Crane III of Killeen, LaVetta “Lovey” Boone of Atlanta, Ga., Tracey Thomas of Killeen and the late Sharon R. Ray of Killeen.

They have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
