Sheridan Cox and Aaron Weiser of Kempner welcomed a son, Canton James Weiser, 7 pounds, 4 ounces, on Feb. 5 at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. Canton’s grandparents are Neal and Melinda Barkhurst of Rockport, Marcus Weiser of Victoria and Richard and Linda Cox of Lampasas.

Driver involved in crash at Harker Heights school taken to hospital

HARKER HEIGHTS — A car crash in the parking lot at Harker Heights High School on Thursday damaged 10 cars, including the vehicle that apparently caused the crash, according to police spokesman Sgt. Steven Miller.
