Shelly Walters Austin and Sean Michael Austin of Dallas welcomed a son, Sean Michael Austin Jr., 8 pounds, 14 ounces, on Nov. 11 at Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale. His grandparents are Margaret Susan Walters of Killeen and Patricia and Pops Austin of Galveston.

CTC to host campus carry student forum

Central Texas College will host a student forum regarding Senate Bill 11, which allows for concealed handguns to be carried on campus by those licensed to do so, at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Anderson Campus Center.

TxDOT meeting on U.S. 190 expansion Tuesday in Heights
