Starla and Christopher Smith welcomed a son, Jackson Tripp Smith, 9 pounds, 1 ounce, on Sept. 25 in Temple.

Jackson’s grandparents are Randy and Deniece Clifton of Gatesville, Anna Hamilton of Harker Heights and Jack Smith of Houston. His great-grandparents are Andy and Janie Ortega of Harker Heights, Jack Smith of Killeen, Clifford and Loretta Bills of Earth and Joann Green of Brownwood.
