Erin Amanda McLennan and Brandon Neely Nickle were united in marriage on June 22, 2013, at Double Creek Crossing in Caldwell. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Stu and Kay McLennan of Harker Heights, in a ceremony officiated by the Revs. Keith and Stephen Nickle, grandfather and uncle of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Copperas Cove High School and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She is employed as an administrative professional at MBA Programs Office at Texas A&M University.

The groom is the son of Neely and Jeanie Nickle of Washington. He graduated from Navasota High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is currently a student at Texas A&M University.

The maid of honor was Addie Nickle

of Houston. The bridesmaids were

KrisAnn Everett of Iola, Kristen Potts of San Antonio, Netanya Stone of Grapevine and Sharon Martin of Killeen.

The best man was Jordan Boyd of College Station. The groomsmen were Jimmy Symington of Brenham, Joey Vazquez of Philadelphia, Pa., Brent Keelan of College Station, Ryan Powell of Inez and Kyle Condrey of Navasota. Stuart McLennan was the usher, and the ringbearer was Jackson Powell of Inez.

A reception was held at Double Creek Crossing in Caldwell.

The couple went to Whitehouse, Jamaica, for their wedding trip.

They reside in College Station.

Texas A&M University-Central Texas will make a public announcement today regarding a $1.5 million grant the university received through The Texas A&M University System Chancellor’s Research Initiative to bring an aspiring young researcher to the campus to engage in a collaborative solar research initiative.
