Kieshana Joan Indalecio Pangelinan and Dominic Quinn Miles Sr. were married July 28th, 2012, at the 1st Calvary Division Memorial Chapel on Fort Hood, Texas. The Reverend Chaplain John Teitman performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Patrick and Mrs. Corinne Ganacias of Killeen Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. Gary Miles Sr. and Ms. Barbara Miles of Copperas Cove, Texas. The bride wore an ivory and white Maggie Sottero gown, with a fitted silhouette that was embellished in corded lace combined with draping layers of fluted tulle that created a flared A-line skirt. Handmade flowers were gently placed throughout the slender bodice with a dipped neckline, corset closure and featured Swarovski crystals. She also wore a lace and pearl edged fingertip veil and carried a tear drop bouquet of purple orchids, mini calla lilies and white flowers with diamond accents.

Presented in marriage by her father and mother, the bride was attended by her closest friend, Cristina Martinez Dessus, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Tamika Fuimaono, Ms. Elisha Sarrosa and Ms. Rowena Sarrosa of Killeen, Texas. Mr. Antonio Caro of Copperas Cove, Texas was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Gary Miles Jr., Mr. Michael Rhymes Usherettes were Ms. Dominique P. Mendiola of Asan, Guam and Ms. Chelsea P. Kerber of Bonney Lake, Washington. Brianna Jean Miles was the flower girl and Dominic Quinn Miles II was the ring bearer; both of Copperas Cove and children of Kieshana and Dominic.

Following the ceremony a beautiful reception was held by the brides parents at The Shilo Inn Suites Ballroom, in Killeen, Texas. The newlyweds will honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica this month.

Petco awards grant to Killeen Animal Services

Killeen Animal Services announced Wednesday it has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support funding that will be used to aid the Killeen shelter’s ongoing spay and neuter program and the care of animals that can be entered into the adoption program.
