Rebecca Lynn Sutton of Harker Heights and Michael Scott Hanna of El Paso were united in marriage on July 14, 2012, at the Salado Church of Christ in Salado. Joe Keys, minister of the Salado Church of Christ, officiated the ceremony.

The bride wore a white cotton organza A-line Galina gown with a sweetheart neckline, floral sash, pick-up tucks and chapel train. She also wore a headpiece of lavender hydrangeas and a veil edged with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of lavender hydrangeas. Her father presented her in marriage.

The bride is the daughter of John and Lou Sutton of Harker Heights. She graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of fine arts in visual art studies. She is employed by Canutillo Independent School District.

The groom is the son of Charles and Paula Hanna of Belton. He is a graduate of Belton High School and is in the U.S. Army serving in the air defense artillery branch at Fort Bliss.

The maid of honor, Hannah Brown of Killeen, wore a lavender organza sundress. The best man was Eric Belcher of Austin. Lyric Sutton, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Patrick Hanna, brother of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in Salado. The couple will make their home in El Paso.
