Anna Marie Zambrano and Jared Edward Gries were united in marriage on June 30, 2012, at Genetti Manor in Dickson City, Pa., with the Rev. Claude Walraven officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Michael Joel Forsyth.

The bride is the daughter of Lori Anne Baker of Austin and Michael James Forsyth of Virginia Beach, Va. She graduated from Copperas Cove High School and attended Central Texas College. She currently works for Acosta Sales and Marketing.

The groom is the son of Clayton Edward and Lisa Kaye Gries of Clarks Summit, Pa. He graduated from Abington Heights High School in Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the U.S. Army from 2007 to 2010 and was deployed to Afghanistan from 2008 to 2009. He currently works at Kane Warehouse in Taylor, Pa.

There were 13 attendants. Katherine Johnson, of Killeen, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Evelyn Forsyth of Austin, Belynda Gries of Clarks Summit, Pa., Aubrey Davis of Taylor, Pa., and Kristen Knopp of Berwick, Pa.

The groomsmen were Richard Williams of Sterling Heights, Mich., Daniel Zambrano, Matthew Zambrano, Joseph Zambrano and Joshua Zambrano, all of Montgomery, Ill.

The flower girls were Payton and Laycee Knopp of Berwick, Pa., and the ring bearer was Zachary Johnson of Killeen.

The reception followed at Genetti Manor with entertainment provided by disc jockey, Charles Colarusso.

The couple resides in Blakely, Pa.

Petco awards grant to Killeen Animal Services

Killeen Animal Services announced Wednesday it has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support funding that will be used to aid the Killeen shelter’s ongoing spay and neuter program and the care of animals that can be entered into the adoption program.
