Bell Co. candidate forum set for Friday

A political forum and debate for the Bell County election will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Killeen Community Center.

The public is invited to ask the candidates questions.

Refreshments will be served.

The event is hosted by the Killeen Adult Branch NAACP, League of United Latin American Citizens, Killeen Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Mu Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Rules of Conduct

Public input sought on special education services

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services and the Texas Education Agency will conduct a series of listening sessions in Texas during the week of Dec. 12, according to a news release from the Department of Education.
