Fourth of July is right around the corner, and Herald staff reporter James Harper has a great story on everyone's favorite way to celebrate the holiday.

Thanks in-part to the rain we've had this year, it doesn't appear that any burn bans will hamper plans for Central Texans to celebrate the 4th with fireworks purchased from local vendors. However, most central Texas cities do have prohibitions when it comes to setting them off within city limits. In Copperas Cove, Killeen and Harker Heights, all fireworks are banned in Cove, and any use of them could result in fines.
