A quick update on Rashad Owens, the Killeen man accused of killing four people and injuring dozens of other while attempting to flee police at the South by Southwest festival March 13.

According to Herald staff reporter Courtney Griffin, a court hearing for Owens was pushed back to a yet-to-be determined date.

Griffin said the Travis County courtroom was packed with reporters looking to sit in on the proceedings. Apparently a bailiff informed the gaggle of press that Owens wasn't going to be in court.

No spepcific date has been given for the hearing at this point, but it will like be toward the end of July, or possibly in early August.
