I'll be honest with y'all: there were high-fives and congratulations swirling between the newsroom and the Geek Cube yesterday when our new website went live. As a matter of fact, I was in an editorial meeting when Linda (our online coordinator) poked her head in to make the big announcement. I gathered my pen and notebook and left the meeting to deliver the news to our social media audience. And I passed out fun-sized candy bars to celebrate.

It's been a long time coming, but we're proud to deliver to y'all what we think you deserve: a quality website with key features that enhances your ability to communicate with us and your communities. Be sure and check out Linda's blog (From the Geek Cube), which you can find by clicking on the "opinion" link and then "blogs." She does a great job of explaining how to get started using the new site. She'll also update the blog frequently with how-to tips.

That's the great thing about our new site - you're not going to see blank blog spaces or an empty calendar. We are ALL going to use it, including you!

So enjoy! And let us know if you run into any bugs or things we can improve. We're learning how to navigate the inner workings of the system so we appreciate your patience.

Have a great weekend!
