Man oh man, my microwave looked pitiful! I despise scrubbing it out BUT....there is HOPE!!! You can EASILY clean your microwave! NO elbow grease!

All you need is lemons (or limes) and water! You can get lemons super cheap.

You will need: bowl, 1 cup of water, 2-3 lemons (or limes), and knife.

*Before you start, you will need quickly wipe all the crumbs and spills out before attempting to steam the microwave.*

Pour up to 2 cup of water in microwaveable bowl, squeeze all the lemons (or limes) in the water (I like to slice them after I squeeze them). You may get the seeds and pits of the juice and that is ok to leave in. (Even though  Put inside microwave and cook for 5 mins. After it finishes cooking, do not open the door, leave bowl inside and let it sit for about 10 mins. While you are waiting for the cleaning to do its job, put the lemons (or limes) in a ziploc bag for another project that I will mention at the end.

After 10 minutes is passed, take the bowl out of the microwave and put aside. Be careful it will be hot! Take clean paper towel or cloth towel and wipe the inside of the microwave. You can moisten the towels with the hot lemon water to help remove stubborn messes. It is SO EASY to clean!!!

Another project in the making: make a cleaner/disinfectant! Don't throw away the lemon water! Let it cool down, do 1 part lemon water and 1 part vinegar and you got yourself window cleaner and kitchen counter cleaner!
