Panda Express opens in Copperas Cove

The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting for Panda Express at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The Chinese fast-food chain is at 208 Robert Griffin III Blvd. in the Five Hills shopping center.

Real Estate Marketplace collects games for kids

The Real Estate Marketplace is collecting board games for Santa’s Workshop. The deadline is Monday.

Board games can be dropped off at 1711 E. Central Texas Expressway, Suite 101, Killeen.

The company suggested the following games: Monopoly, Trouble, Sorry, Mouse Trap, Cooties, Sorry, Battleship, Guess Who, Perfection, Gator Golf, Operation, Clue, Sliders, Toss Across, Blokus, Headbanz, Scrabble Jr., Apples to Apples Jr., Jenga, Elefun and Life.

Sam’s Club sets savings night for Plus members

Sam’s Club in Harker Heights is conducting a special night of savings for its Plus members from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Plus members are people who paid a higher membership cost for additional savings at the retailer.

Killeen chamber plans orientation Tuesday

The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce hosts a new member orientation from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at its offices, 1 Santa Fe Plaza, Killeen.

Orientation is for new members and seasoned members to learn more about protecting their investments. It also provides a platform for members to discuss how the chamber can better help them.

New-member orientation is held the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Ladies of Killeen host networking opportunity

Ladies of Killeen will have a social mixer from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Shilo Inn, 3701 S. W.S. Young Drive, Killeen.

The mixer provides opportunities to promote, network and market businesses.

Heights chamber collects for Santa Pal program

The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce is collecting donations for the Santa Pal program at its office, 552 E. Farm-to-Market 2410, Suite B.

The program provides Christmas meals and toys for Harker Heights children in need.

Registration for Fort Hood update, luncheon underway

Members of the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce can register for the organization’s Fort Hood update and luncheon.

The luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 5 at St. Paul Chong Hasang Church Parish Hall on Stillhouse Lake Road. Col. Matt Elledge, Fort Hood garrison commander, will give an update about Fort Hood.

Group planning Thanksgiving dinner for children’s shelter

Revenge of the Pork will host a Thanksgiving dinner for the Options House Children’s Shelter at 6 p.m. Tuesday at 601 Palmer Ave., Killeen.

Option House serves children ages 3-17 who need shelter and food.
