Killeen chamber offers boot camp
The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce is offering a new investor boot camp from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chamber offices, One Santa Fe Plaza, Killeen. The camp will show members how to maximize their investments, allow them to meet the staff and learn more about available programs, products and services.
Cinergy Cinemas joins Heights Chamber
The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cinergy Cinemas and Entertainment from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at 402 Constitution Drive, Copperas Cove.
Cinergy Cinemas opened in Copperas Cove in 2009 and plans to start a $8.5 million expansion for its operation this year.
Resource Center teaches Facebook course
The Central Texas Business Resource Center will hold a workshop on businesses using Facebook from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 300 Cheyenne Road, Killeen.
Facebook is an effective networking and marketing tool that can create awareness and connect businesses or organizations with their community.

The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the $5.4 million downtown streetscaping project from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
AAF seeks board members
American Advertising Federation-Central Texas seeks nominations for the 2014-2015 board of directors.
The governing board includes a president, first vice president, second vice president, secretary, treasurer, chairman of the board (immediate past president), and up to three at-large board members.

Nominees must be members in good standing and dues paid individually or designated through their employer.
Elections will be May 2.
