The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce is conducting a Santa Pal toy drive at its offices, 552 E. Farm-to-Market 2410, Suite B, Harker Heights.

Resource center schedules business plan Boot Camp
The Central Texas Business Resource Center offers a Business Plan Boot Camp workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at 300 Cheyenne Drive.
The workshop will provide an overview of each section of a business plan and examine what research is needed to write a well-written business plan. Topics covered include business plan basics, writing a successful business plan, techniques for promoting your business and understanding financial reports.
The workshop is for both existing and potential small-business owners. It will provide information normally offered for $100 at a cost of $45 per person and includes all business planning materials.

Hupply Pupply, Heights chamber set ribbon-cutting
Hupply Pupply, a Mediterranean grocery, cafe and hookah bar, is holding a ribbon-cutting from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday with the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce. The cafe is at 3300 Florence Road, Killeen.
Freedom Jeep hosts Killeen chamber mixer Thursday
The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce will have its annual holiday mixer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Freedom Jeep Chrysler, 3602 E. Central Texas Expressway, Killeen.

Young professionals planning luncheon
The Greater Killeen Young Professionals will have a monthly business luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. Thursday at 300 Cheyenne, Killeen.
The lunch gives area young professionals an opportunity to learn from business and civic leaders while meeting and networking with each other.
December’s speaker is Ann Farris, Killeen Food Care Center executive co-director and assistant city manager.

Cove chamber hosts Christmas open house
The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce will host an open house for its members and other community members at its offices, 204 E. Robertson Ave.
The come-and-go event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and will have refreshments. It is an annual Christmas meet-and-greet with the chamber.
