Resource center offers business plan basics class

The Central Texas Business Resource Center is holding a workshop session for local entrepreneurs on business plan basics from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Killeen Workforce Center, 300 Cheyenne Drive.

This workshop covers a thorough overview of business planning, with a questions and answers session. Workbooks are included.

Attendees should reserve seats at least one day in advance by calling 254-200-2001 or emailing marcusc@workforcelink.com.

Let Us Do the Cooking hosts Killeen chamber mixer

Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce members are invited to the monthly Third Thursday Mixer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Let Us Do The Cooking, 203 W. Jasper Drive, Killeen. Food and beverages will be served. No RSVP is required.

Young professionals hold business luncheon

The Greater Killeen Young Professionals will have its monthly business luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Killeen Workforce Center, 300 Cheyenne Drive.

The lunch gives area young professionals the opportunity to connect with and learn from our community’s current business and civic leaders while meeting and networking with each other. No RSVP is required. The event is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

The Harker Heights Chamber of the Commerce is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for Southern Eye Associates from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at 300 E. Farm-to-Market Road 2410, Suite 109. Southern Eye Associates was formerly Eye City.
