HARKER HEIGHTS — Foundations have been poured and construction is underway at the site of Twin Peaks, a mountain lodge-themed sports restaurant, but customers will have to wait a little longer before they can dig in.

Originally slated to open its doors in time for the Super Bowl in February, opening day was pushed back due to construction delays, according to Katie Allen, public relations spokeswoman for Twin Peaks.

Allen said they are now looking at an early spring opening and will start their hiring spree in the new year.
