The Killeen Community Development Division – HOME Program and J’Neka Morrison with Exit Home Vets Realty will conduct a free first-time homebuyer seminar from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Killeen Arts and Activities Center.

The seminar will be in the community development training room in Building E, next to Head Start, at 802 N. Second St.

Participants will learn the pros and cons of homeownership, budgeting, goal setting, credit ratings, pre-approval, how to choose a mortgage lender and real estate agent, home inspections and warranties, making an offer on a home, the closing process and the responsibilities of home ownership.

Reservations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday.

Translators for Korean and Spanish languages are available with 72 hours of notice.
