Small-business owners turned out in force Wednesday for the first KDH Digital Services luncheon and seminar sponsored by the Killeen Daily Herald.
KDH Digital Services launched last week and will provide small businesses with online reputation and social media management, mobile marketing consulting and other services dedicated to increasing the bottom line.
A team of professionals greeted the more than 85 participants and gave a two-hour free presentation on the tools small-business owners need to market themselves effectively online.
“We want to offer small-business owners a cheaper solution than what’s out there to meet their marketing needs from a company they already trust,” said Jeannette Mitchell, a digital marketing coordinator with KDH Digital Services.
For Eva Adams, the seminar gave her guidance on ways to market her home child care business.
“I know there are more avenues now that I can venture out into,” she said. “Now I have more options than the few I had. I’m more knowledgeable now.”
The KDH Digital Services staff will provide small-business owners with a free consultation and information about the services they offer.
“We want to teach small-business owners how to present the right message to the right audience at the right time,” said Linda Fulkerson, KDH Digital Services operations coordinator.
