Estimated values for new home construction almost reached $3 million in Killeen and Copperas Cove between Feb. 14 and Thursday.
Killeen issued 19 new home permits for $2.6 million in estimated construction cost, according to a city report.
The new residences were valued between $94,000 and $191,000.
Lennar Homes is building five of the Killeen homes, while Carothers Homes and Jerry Wright Homes were each issued four permits for construction. Other builders included Stylecraft Builders Central Texas, All Star Homes and Ashton Homes.
The homes are being built on Traditions Drive, Legacy Lane, Greyfriar Drive, Castleton Drive, Granex Drive, Kaitlyn Drive, Hailie Drive, Brooklynn Kay Drive, Joyce Lane and Taffinder Lane.
Copperas Cove issued three new home construction permits with an estimated $360,000 cost, according to a report from the city. The homes ranged between $112,000 and $123,000.
Silverado Homes and Precision Value Homes are building the single-family dwellings on Dalton Street, Plains Street and Settlement Road.
Killeen and Copperas Cove didn’t issue any commercial structure building permits during the time period. Nolanville also didn’t issue any commercial or residential permits.
A Harker Heights permit report wasn’t available Monday.
