Harker Heights granted 10 construction permits for new homes with an estimated value of $2 million from Feb. 10 to Friday.

The homes ranged in construction price from $122,000 to $314,000, according to a report from the city.

Harker Heights-based Carothers Homes is conducting most of the construction with five residences under construction in the 1100 block of Doc Whitten Drive. The street is in a new subdivision called The Grove at Whitten Place.

Other homes are underway on Broken Arrow, Vineyard Trail, Rocky Ridge Trail and Douglas Fir Drive.

Nolanville and Copperas Cove permits were unavailable Tuesday.
