TEMPLE — Scott & White Health Plan was ranked the top Medicare plan in the state by a national organization.
According to the National Committee for Quality Assurance Medicare Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2013-2014, Scott & White Health Plan ranked No. 1 in Texas for the second year in a row and 21st out of 557 plans across the nation.
“I’m extremely pleased our ongoing commitment to providing quality health care continues to be recognized at this level,” said Allan Einboden, president and chief executive officer of Scott & White Health Plan.
The plan was graded on three key components: quality of health care, member satisfaction and achievements on the organization’s assessment of plan performance to industry standards.
