COPPERAS COVE — The former Casa Ole building has a potential owner.

Sold signs went up on the 1-acre property late last week; however, it is currently listed in escrow on the property manager’s and seller’s websites.

Information about the buyer cannot be released until the beginning of the year, said Jim Wright, owner of Jim Wright Company, which handles sales, leasing and management for residential and commercial properties throughout the greater Fort Hood area.

Case Ole, a Houston-based Mexican food chain, vacated the property during the summer and did not comment on why the location closed.

The building sits on one of the busiest intersections in Copperas Cove — Constitution Drive and U.S. Highway 190, near the Five Hills shopping center.

According to the Coryell Central Tax Appraisal District, the building is 4,420 square feet and was last appraised at $800,000.

JWCrentals.com stated the property as being offered at $895,000 and available for lease at $8,105 per month.

Wright said the property is being sold.
