To our readers:

Beginning today, the Herald is implementing a paywall on our website, KDHnews.com.

Online readers will get 20 free articles each month before being prompted to sign up for a subscription. Subscriptions will give readers full, unlimited access to the site, including an e-edition of the print paper and other exclusive online content.

If you already have a KDHnews.com login, you’ll be prompted to subscribe when the 20-story limit is reached.

Those without logins will get 10 free articles a month before being prompted to create a login and sign in to receive 10 more free articles before subscribing.

Home delivery print subscriptions include free online access. Readers will link their online logins to the account number and last name associated with their print accounts.

Print subscribers who don’t know their account numbers can call our circulation department at 254-501-7400 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 6 a.m. and noon Saturday and Sunday to obtain their account numbers.

Online-only readers will be asked to select a subscription option and enter payment with credit or debit card before additional access is granted. Several subscription options are available, including day passes, weekly passes, monthly passes and multi-month passes.

As always, we remain committed to being your source for news and information. Thank you for your continued business.
