To fulfill a growing need, a cutting edge 26,000 square foot community specifically designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia is coming to Georgetown. The LaSalle Group, a national leader in memory care with more than 24 years of experience, is excited to break ground for their newest residence, Autumn Leaves of Georgetown (3600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628), on March 26. The ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and will be followed with a ceremonial turning of dirt. Mayor George Garver of Georgetown will be attending and speaking, as well as Mitch Warren, CEO of The LaSalle Group, Inc. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Once open, the community will also provide services for families in the area including educational seminars, Alzheimer’s support groups, day stays and respite care.
