The TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas has been in existence for 24 years. It started as a run put on by a few local merchants, and has grown from there into a Multi-County and Community Event. Each year it has gotten bigger and better than the previous years. This event shows, not only to the needy children who receive the toys, but to  the world that by working together, great things can be accomplished.

The TriCounty toy run committee is comprised of volunteers from several motorcycle clubs and organizations, motorcycle enthusiasts, various local businesses, local departments and agencies and other walks of life. The common bond is the appreciation of motorcycles and helping needy children in the local area, whose Christmas was uncertain.

Nobody on the toy run committee is paid for their services in any manner, other than the knowledge that they made a difference in the children's lives in our communities.  We sponsor 23 different local charity groups with an estimated 8,000 plus children. The TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas is only one of many local organized events for gathering toys for needy children.  We are not in any competition with any other organizations or events, because we all have the same agenda of helping a needy child.  The starting point is the American Legion, Post 133, Temple and will end at the Ogletree Gap Park in Copperas Cove.

You can become a member of the TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas Toy Run committee simply by showing up to the meetings, and helping to make a difference in the children's lives in our communities!
