McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) is offering a SAAS-MOD Training Courseat its Temple, Texas campus on November 18 to 22, 2013. SAAS-MOD, or Standard Army Ammunition System—Modernization, enables the U.S. Army with the capability to manage ammunition by tracking and support. Through network communications SAAS-MOD provides global visibility of stock levels to the Army and its major commands. MAT offers SAAS-MOD Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) Training to provide students with the ability to operate, demonstrate, and apply the functions and capabilities of SAAS-MOD to support munitions operations. Anyone interested in career development for munitions operations should attend.

The course covers system utilities and interfaces, along with processes for personnel, supply, equipment, and maintenance. In addition, participants will learn how to create reports and go over Army Materiel Status System (AMSS) procedures.
