American Cancer Society Relay for Life has been involved in our community for many years. This is the first year we decided to incorporate the Bark For Life event at a smaller scale into our Relay for Life activities here in Harker Heights, Ft. Hood, Killeen. This will be 2015 Killeen, Ft. Hood, Harker Heights Relay for Life Fall Kick-Off & Fundraising event. So please join us with your family & canine best friend and contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our Canine Caregivers. It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society.
Canine Caregivers are Canine Companions, Guide Dogs, Service Dogs, Rescue Dogs, Therapy Dogs, Police Dogs, Cancer Survivor Dogs, and Diagnostic Dogs, who with their owners, are joining the American Cancer Society as Relay teams
There are several participation options for registration with optional fundraising that include:
Canine/Owner Registration for 1 Dog Pay By Credit Card $205K Participant: $20
Vendor Registration : $25

7:00 a.m. Vendors & Volunteers arrive for setup
7:15 a.m. Packet Pick-up & Day Off Registration (will continue until 11:30 a.m.)
8:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
8:15 am Commence Walking
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 am Walking, Demonstration, Vendors
11:30 am Closing Ceremonies & Clean Up

The American Cancer Society Bark For LifeTM is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
