Get ready to enjoy the 2nd Annual Festival of the Arts in Temple at the Cultural Activities Center. Save the festival date April 5, 2014. The festival will kick off Saturday with a 5k “Run for the Roof” beginning at the CAC 3011 N. 3rd Street, this is a fundraiser to help improve the roof over the CAC auditorium. At 10am inside the galleries of the CAC, the largest children’s exhibit of ARTWORKS opens to the public. This is the largest children’s art exhibit in Central Texas, you will be amazed to see all the Central Texas talent displayed floor to ceiling underneath one roof.

The Festival of the Arts opens from 10am- 5pm. The festival will consist of arts and crafts booths, live demonstrations, live music, several food booths and children’s activities.  Save the date to attend and be part of the festival.

 Vendor applications are being currently accepted now until Mar. 2014 for booths consisting of handmade arts and crafts, and food vendors, and local talent performer interests.  Demonstrations booths are available too, see our website www.cacARTS.org for more details or call the CAC to find out more information on how to be part of the event. 254-773-9926.
