Camp tarp

At Audie Murphy Middle School at Fort Hood Thursday, a group of students new to the school works to flip a tarp while standing on it. The school conducted Falcon Camp orientation for new students 11 days before the first day of school. Students toured the building, played games, and met peers, faculty and administrators.

Rules of Conduct

Belton Fire Department to distribute fans

BELTON — The fire department is partnering with Wal-Mart, H-E-B, TruMH, the Rotary Club and Belton Professional Firefighters Association to distribute fans to those in need during extreme heat conditions, according to a news release from the city.
