Doug Cook other

Mr. Cook was elected to the Board in 2010. He was born and raised in Arizona where he graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering. After graduation, he worked several years as a construction superintendent building manufacturing facilities for the Motorola Company. He then went on to work with Hunt Building Corporation where Mr. Cook served as the Vice President of Design Build for 12 years before working for the Opus West Corporation as the Vice President of Design Build for 20 years.

Mr. Cook retired in 2003 to move to Copperas Cove in order to spend more time with his children and grandchildren. Now a seven year resident of Copperas Cove, Mr. Cook has five children, nine grandchildren four of them have recently graduated from Copperas Cove ISD schools and four great-grandchildren, three who currently attend Copperas Cove ISD schools. Doug is a member of the Coryell County Appraisal District Board and the Copperas Cove Education Foundation.
