Cove permit officials approved 64 new permits from July 31 to Aug. 4 at a total value of $681,208.

Four of the permits were for new single-family residences at a value of $639,105. Two of the homes will be constructed by Stylecraft Builders, one will be constructed by Manning Homes and one will be constructed by Clear Creek Construction.

The homes range in value from $144,178 to $196,041.

The city has issued permits worth a total value of $22.15 million so far this year.

Killeen

Killeen officials issued permits for 11 multi-family housing units next to the still-under-construction Killeen Nursing and Rehabilitation complex at 5000 Thayer Drive.

The 11 units, seven of which are three stories tall, are all being constructed by Griffin Construction and have a value of $11.15 million. The complex is expected to open this fall, according to its website.

Killeen officials also issued permits for five new single-family homes last week at a value of $694,118.

Contractor D.R. Horton will construct three of the homes, and Saratoga Homes will construct two. The homes range in value from $89,976 to $175,450.

In total, Killeen officials issued 125 permits at a value of $12,802,766.

The city has issued permits worth a total value of $105.24 million so far this year.

Harker Heights

Building officials issued a total of 49 permits worth a total value of $1.38 million.

Four of the issued permits were for the construction of new single-family residences worth a total of $1.03 million. All four of the new homes will built by contractor D.R. Horton. The homes range in value from $239,642 to $275,615.

So far this year, the city has issued permits worth a total value of $19.52 million.

Nolanville

There were two permits issued by the city worth a total value of $540,000.

Both of the issued permits were for the construction of new single-family residences. The houses will be constructed by Flintrock Builders.

So far this year, the city has issued permits worth a total value of $10.31 million.
