FRIDAY, JULY 4

THE SENIOR CENTER is closed for Independence Day.

THE YMCA is on holiday hours. The Family Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5 HILLS COWBOY CHURCH offers roping practice and women’s Bible study both starting at 7 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 5

THE YMCA has Zumba Fitness from 10 to 11 a.m.; Starz Basketball from 8 to 10 a.m., and sparring from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MONDAY, JULY 7

THE SENIOR CENTER offers Stretch & Flex at 8 a.m.; Texercise at 8:30, and crochet/knit or yoga at 9 a.m. Buy your potluck tickets today.

THE YMCA has Boot Camp from 10 to 10:45 a.m.; yoga from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Zumba Toning from 7 to 8 p.m. Basketball camp begins.

5 HILLS COWBOY CHURCH offers guitar lessons at 6:30 p.m.

TUESDAY, JULY 8

THE LIBRARY will have toddler time for ages 1-3 at 10:30 a.m., and Garbage Pizza for ages 5-11 at 2 p.m.

COPPERAS COVE ASSOCIATION FOR CHALLENGED CITIZENS, Inc meets at 6:30 p.m. at Lil-Tex Restaurant, 502 S. Main St.

THE YMCA has yoga from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; Tae Kwon Do from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. (depending on age); Zumba Fitness from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and basketball camp.

THE SENIOR CENTER offers games at 9:30; snacks at 11 a.m., and Regal Nursing Bingo at noon. Buy your potluck tickets today.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 9

THE LIBRARY will have Mystery Games for Teens (ages 11-16) at 2:30 p.m.

VFW POST 8577, in conjunction with Bring Everyone in the Zone, will provide Peer to Peer Support for service members, veterans and their families from 8 to 9 p.m. at 1506 Veterans Ave. Call ODie O’Dwyer at 254-542-2748.

KEMPNER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH hosts Wednesday Night Recharge. Join us for prayer, discipleship and a light supper at 6 p.m. You do not have to be a church member to participate. The church is at the light in Kempner. Call 512-932-3011.

VFW POST 8577 has service officers available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1506 Veterans Ave., for assistance filing VA claims or counseling of veterans, widows and orphans. Call ODie O’Dwyer at 254-542-2748.

THE SENIOR CENTER offers Fellowship at 9:30 a.m.; Chickenfoot (dominoes) lessons at noon, and basic computer Class at 1 p.m.
