Hillside Ministries presents musical

Hillside Ministries present “Bethlehem’s Big Night” at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at Hillside Ministries, Killeen campus, 13601 Edgefield, and at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 and 10:45 a.m. Dec. 15 at Hillside Ministries, Cove campus, 2602 South Farm-to-Market 116. Admission is free. Contact: 254-547-3349.

MOC sponsors Christmas auction

The Military Order of the Cootie, Pup Tent 13 is sponsoring the Annual Christmas Auction on Saturday at Veterans-of-Foreign-Wars Post 8577, 1506 Veterans Ave., Copperas Cove. Proceeds will go for veterans’ programs. The Ladies Auxiliary has raffle tables in their program. Times are as follows: Cake walk from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Dime a Dip from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and auction from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Church greets Nikolaus-Bishop

The Holy Family Catholic Church is greeting the Nikolaus-Bishop from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be German cookies, cakes, coffee and tea. Kids’ crafts and nursery are available. The event is free.

Cove basketball team to host breakfast

The Copperas Cove basketball team is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The tickets are $8. The team is raising money for their banquet.

Business U.S. Highway 190 redesignation

The city of Copperas Cove is working with the U.S. Postal Service and Texas Department of Transportation to identify steps to complete readdressing for residences and businesses along U.S. Highway 190.

Three public meetings will be held to discuss necessary steps: 6 p.m. Tuesday, 6 p.m. Dec. 17 and 6 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Copperas Cove Police Department Community Room.

Cove House 2nd annual Christmas store Dec. 14

The Cove House is having its second annual Christmas store from noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 14. All gifts cost under $7. The Cove House is still in need of new toys for the store and asking for donations to be dropped off. Volunteers also are needed.

The store is at Grace United Methodist Church, 101 West Ave F, Copperas Cove.
