Cove 4-H Club meeting

Copperas Cove 4-H Club will host Sylvia Rhodes, the director of Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful, at their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cove Church of the Nazarene, 964 W. U.S. Highway 190, in Copperas Cove.

The 4-H club meets the first Tuesday of the month from September to May. The summer months are taken off so members can attend camps.

Membership is $25 and is open to any student from third to 12th grade. Go to www.4honline.com.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring an Irish Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. March 15 in the Knights of Columbus Hall, two miles south of U.S. Highway 190 on Farm-to-Market 2657, just past FM 2808.

The dinner of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots will be served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. BYOB. Tickets are $15 and Office. Only 100 tickets are available.

Music Educator Award

Applications are now being accepted for the second annual Music Educator Award, which is being presented by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Foundation.

To nominate a local teacher for this national award, go to GRAMMYMusicTeacher.com.

The deadline for nominations is March 31. The award is open to current music teachers and anyone can nominate a teacher.
