Lines will be dipped in the City Park pond from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 17 when the Parks and Recreation Department offers the annual Fishing in the Park.

The event is free and open to the public.

Trout will be hungry and participants should bring their own fishing gear. Those 18 or older must have a fishing license, as well.

There will be a free raffle for prizes. A five-trout limit per person will be in effect.

City Park is at 1206 West Avenue B.
