Caleb Hunter, right, and Abigail McPhail smile after being announced as the 2013 Homecoming king and queen for Copperas Cove High School during the football game Sept. 13 at Bulldawg Stadium.

Copperas Cove High School students crowned their homecoming king and queen Sept. 13.

Senior Caleb Hunter and senior Abigail McPhail received their crowns as part of the homecoming football game tradition. The night was made more special for McPhail because her father, currently stationed in Afghanistan, was home to see her crowned.

Seniors Elliana Double Day and Tyler King were senior duchess and prince.

Seniors Mechelle Bussell and Mathew Larsen were named second runners-up for senior duchess and prince. Kiyah Hays was named junior duchess. Daliana Soto was named sophomore duchess, and Kamryn Mayberry was named freshman duchess.
