The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove met last Friday. Library Director Kevin Marsh shared his vision for the library, which includes a “technology petting project.”

A new member, Azeita Taylor, was welcomed by president Dennis Ayres.

Upcoming events were discussed, which includes the Healing Fields, Ride for a Child, Feast of Sharing and assisting the Copperas Cove library in future projects.

Healing Fields involves a display of flags to allow residents an opportunity to pay tribute to soldiers.

Ride a Child events raise funds for child abuse prevention. Feast of Sharing provides free Thanksgiving dinners to Cove residents.

Noon Exchange Club secretary Pat Thomas was recognized as Exchangite of the Quarter. Elana Fana was recognized with the Senior of the Quarter Award. Guest speaker John Bottoms, the administrator of the Windcrest Living Center, spoke about Medicare and Medicaid.
