Timothy “Timber” Fowler, 43, is pastor of Church at Skyline Valley, which meets Sundays at Cinergy Cinemas in Copperas Cove.

Where are you from?

I am originally from Paragould, Ark.

Tell me about your family.

I have been married to my beautiful and talented God-fearing wife Robin for the past 24 years. We have four very active little boys named Graham, 14, Elijah, 12, Joshua, 10 and Will, 7. My wife and I plan on adopting a child one day in the near future. My wife home schools our boys.

How long have you been in ministry?

I have been in ministry for 24 years. If you do the math, I started when I was 19 years old. I have been a pastor here at Skyline for five years.

Tell me about your church.

Everyone is welcomed. Our motto is “No Perfect People Permitted.” We are a blue-jean, flip-flop wearing kind of church.

If you could change one thing about your life what would it be?

I wish I knew back when I was 20 all the things that I know now.

Are you involved in any community activities, organizations or clubs?

I coach for the Cove Parks and Recreation Department. I do lots of community work within my church. I minister, help at the homeless shelter, and our church helps at Cove House.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

The Gulf Shores of Alabama. My wife and kids love the beach and the sand, I just love to stand on the balcony and listen to the ocean waves and the wind blowing the trees, so basically we all get what we want out of the trip. I enjoy anything that deals with the family. We are a very family-oriented family.

What was the best advice that you were ever given?

Just as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle during my wedding my dad turned to me and said, “Son, make sure that your zipper is zipped.” Thankfully, I was straight, but that was great advice.
