Refresh Spa

Refresh Spa and Boutique employee Ashlan Lyons, sister-in-law to owner Ashley Lyons, marvels over the creations made by next-door-neighbor Bits and Bites Bakery for the one-year anniversary of Refresh on Saturday.

Celebrating a one-year anniversary is usually a pretty big step in life, regardless of what kind it is. But when that anniversary is for a business, the feeling of accomplishment can be pretty amazing.

Refresh Spa and Boutique celebrated its first full year of being in business Saturday and owner Ashley Lyons said she was thrilled with the success her health and wellness business had seen so far. She is even more excited to see how well it will continue to do in the future, she said.

“We had a really good first year and we really couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone in Copperas Cove,” Lyons said. “We’ve actually expanded and are now doing (manicures and pedicures). We’ve had growth and everyone seems to like it — I’m happy and have no complaints.”

The year literally seemed to fly by and was a lot of fun, Lyons added.

“We have some really awesome things coming this next year, so I’m kind of even more excited for the second year,” she said.

Lyon’s sister-in-law Ashlan Lyons, who also works at the business as a nutrition councilor, said she was very happy the business was doing so well.

“It’s been awesome working here. It’s a great environment and everybody is just really excited,” she said. “It’s been an amazing experience, especially since I’m just out of school. It’s nice to be able to help out — I’m excited to see what will be coming up.”
