Nedlewerkes owner Lois McMaster said business returned to normal after a gold Cadillac crashed into a brick wall at the store’s entrance in Cove Terrace Shopping Center.

The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. March 7. The driver of the Cadillac and a longtime Nedlewerkes customer, accidentally drove over a concrete parking stopper and hit the brick wall. She was not issued a citation by police.

“Everything’s fine and we’re all fine,” McMaster said. “We’ll begin repairs in no time, and it was a customer who was more embarrassed than anything else.”

No merchandise was damaged and no people were injured, McMaster said.
