COPPERAS COVE — Copperas Cove first responders and soldiers from Fort Hood were treated to breakfast and a patriotic walk Wednesday morning at two CCISD schools.

Members of the Copperas Cove police and fire departments, the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office and a representative of the school’s adopted military unit were serenaded by students at Hettie Halstead Elementary School early Wednesday before sitting down to a breakfast prepared especially for them.
