GATESVILLE — The 52nd District Clerk’s office released on Tuesday the Coryell County grand jury’s aggravated assault indictment of Stephanie Ann Snider.

Snider, 44, of Killeen, caused a disturbance on Sept. 25 when she took a knife to a victim Snider said pushed her, according to an arrest report. An officer smelled alcohol on Snider’s breath when he spoke to her, and Snider informed him “she had been drinking a ‘fifth’ of whiskey” since 1 p.m. The victim and a man who was also involved told another officer that Snider was yelling at the man when the victim tried to break up the argument.

Snider then went to her truck and returned with a knife, which she pointed toward the victim, eventually cutting her right hand when the victim attempted to block an attack to her head.

Coryell County Justice of the Peace John Guinn arraigned Snider on Sept. 26 and set her bond at $15,000.
