Lampasas police make arrests in drug possession case

LAMPASAS — Michael Stevens and Jamie Fulton were arrested in Lampasas on Thursday after police found them in possession of 4 ounces of marijuana.

Stevens, 32, and Fulton, 25, are both from Coleman and were arrested in the 700 block of South Key Avenue just before 4 p.m. Stevens was charged with possession of marijuana and Fulton was charged with delivery of marijuana, more than 4 ounces, less than 5 pounds.

Investigator Charlie Boswell, with the Lampasas Police Department, could not release many details as the investigation is ongoing.

As of Friday afternoon, each suspect had posted a $2,000 bond and was not in custody.
