A new mobile pet grooming business called Brandy’s Zoom Groom became members of the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 11.

“On behalf of the chamber, we welcome you and look forward to working with you,” said chamber President Betty Price.

Owners Brandy Westberry and her husband, Nathan Sparks, recently moved to Cove from Fredericksburg. They’ve been in business for two months.

Westberry grew up in the business and has many years of grooming experience as a result.

I’ve always wanted my own groom business,” Westberry said. “My mom says that I was born with a pair of scissors in my hands.

Brandy’s Zoom Groom, which is not affiliated with Brandi’s Grooming, provides trims, full shaves, nail clipping, bathing and flea treatment for all breeds all from their fully-equipped grooming bus.

“We have everything a regular grooming shop has,” Sparks said.

Westberry said the mobile service is especially helpful for older people who have trouble transporting larger dogs.
