A shooting May 12 landed a 34-year-old man in a local hospital, according to police spokesman Sgt. Martin Ruiz.

An argument led to gunshots being fired in the 500 block of North First Street, according to a news release from Ruiz.

Police arrived just before 11 p.m. and were told the man who was shot was taken to Metroplex Hospital, and later Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. Minimal suspect information was provided, Ruiz said.
