COPPERAS COVE — A 33-year-old man was booked into Coryell County Jail on Friday after police suspected him of committing a rape that he recorded earlier this week.
Justice of the Peace Bill Price arraigned Treron Dewayne Hall, of Copperas Cove, Friday on two charges of sexual assault. Price set the bonds for the charges at $50,000 each.
Copperas Cove police officers arrested Hall on Thursday after reportedly reviewing a video in which he allegedly forced a woman to orally sodomize him, stated an arrest complaint.
The woman in the video was crying and hesitating to perform the sexual act, the complaint stated.
Through interviews with the victim, police learned prior to the video Hall allegedly forced another sexual act from the woman, according to the complaint. When the woman resisted and pulled away from him, he then supposedly punched her in the mouth and forced her to a bedroom.
There he reportedly told the woman to get on her knees or he would go back to doing it the other way, stated the complaint. It was at that time he allegedly grabbed a camera and began recording the incident.
A sexual assault exam reportedly confirmed the victim’s statement.
In an unrelated incident, Price also arraigned Matthew Lawrence Gillespie, 27, of Copperas Cove, on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. Price set Gillespie’s bond at $8,000.
